So, we start off with this man coming back from World War II and ready to start a life with his wife, right? Right. Well, when this man comes home he's flabbergasted by what he sees. His wife in bed with another lad! Now Richard, the lad, exits the home immediately.
This man is so hurt he starts getting drunk to try and fade the memory of his wife away. This does not help him whatsoever. He drinks so much that he later dies of all the alcohol in his system.
His wife, Katherine, attends his wedding but shortly follows in his footsteps. She also begins this drinking habit of getting drunk to forget. Unfortunately, she also later dies due to the alcohol.
They put that bottle to their head and pulled the trigger...
