Who's living in the "best of all possible worlds." (A term coined by Pangloss.)
Now, this guy is over here falling in love with the baron's daughter, Cunegonde. She is also falling for him though. So, the two get this sudden urge to do some PG-13 type activities behind a screen door when conclude watching Sir Pangloss teaching "experimental physics" to a young female lad.
(That's Cune and Candy about to do their thing.)
So, as we all know, Cune and Candy get caught doing the PG-13 version of the dirty dirty and this all leads to Candy's departure from the "best world of all possible worlds."
